PRECISION
URETHANE SHEET
While
many companies in the urethane business carry urethane sheet
as a common item, our sheet is different from most because
of the tighter tolerances we hold and the thin cross sections
we can cast. We have the capability to make precision urethane sheet
from as thin as .020" to as thick as .500" and hold
tolerances of +/- .002". The urethane sheet sizes we carry are
listed below with their respective tolerances. Standard hardnesses
range from 50 Shore A to 60 Shore D. Other hardnesses and
tighter tolerances are available by special quote.

COMPRESSION
MOLDED PARTS
Many
parts are often too complicated or too costly to cast by any
means other than compression molding. Molding under this method
reduces variation between parts and eliminates blemishes that
are inherent in some other molding processes.
Seal rings, contoured castings, and parts with metal inserts
are those where compression molding makes the most sense.
Compression molding can be used on TDI and MDI elastomers
with hardness ranges from 30 Shore A to 80 Shore D.

CUSTOM
OPEN-CAST GOODS
The
versatility of open-cast urethane and polyurethane molding
produces a wide variety of products for most industries. Applications
requiring high abrasion resistance, outstanding tensile and
tear strength, noise dampening, chemical resistance, and/or
excellent load bearing capability, find that urethane surpasses
most other polymers.
Expensive metal casting often times can be replaced by lightweight
urethane and still maintain or exceed wear characteristics
found in their metal counterparts. Polyurethanes can be selected
and formulated to maximize particular need specifications
such as maximizing abrasion or increasing tensile strength
to obtain the strongest, most break resistant part possible.
The ingredients found in some urethanes are FDA approved for
contact with foodstuffs and find applications in food services
and production as well as the medical industry.

We cover minute rolls needing meticulous attention to surface
finish and tolerance and larger rolls up to 14" in diameter
measuring 120" long. Our urethane rollers come in hardnesses from
10 Shore A to 80 Shore D and the company's experienced machine
shop holds rigid tolerances as tight as +/-.003". Whether
it's an existing roller that needs recovering or a core that
is being covered for the first time, ESCO Plastics provides

just a few days, at competitive prices, and in a wide range of
durometers.
Our standard pricing covers durometers from 50-100 on
the “A” scale and up to 60 on the “D” scale, with
special pricing for softer and harder durometers.
