Compression Molded Parts

Many parts are often too complicated or too costly to cast by any means other than compression molding. Molding under this method reduces variation between parts and eliminates blemishes that are inherent in some other molding processes.

Seal rings, contoured castings, and parts with metal inserts are those where compression molding makes the most sense. Compression molding can be used on TDI and MDI elastomers with hardness ranges from 30 Shore A to 80 Shore D. Compression molding offers many advantages over other plastics manufacturing processes -
